  • Local Solutions: Eastern Climate Preparedness Conference

    • Date: April 30-May 2

    • Location: Manchester, NH

    • Info: This regional conference is hosted by Antioch University and NOAA and covers a range of climate preparedness and resiliency issues in the northeast,  such as: sea level rise, urban heat, and both coastal and inland flooding issues. This conference is geared towards small government planners and decision makers.

  • National Adaptation Forum

    • Date: April 23-25

    • Location: Madison, WI

    • Info: This conference gathers stakeholders from all levels across the country to discuss climate adaptation processes and adaptation activities. EcoAdapt hosts this conference for the adaptation community to foster knowledge exchange, innovation and mutual support.

  • Mass Land Conservation Conference (MLCC)

    • Date: March 24

    • Location: Worcester, MA

    • Info: This conference is focused on fostering a green future in our state through land conservation and greening strategies. This year’s theme is Leading Locally in a Changing World.

  • Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions (MACC)

    • Date:  Every March, (last conference was March 3)

    • Location: Worcester, MA

    • Info: The Annual Environmental Conference attracts more than 750 conservation commissioners and agents, environmental officials, consultants, attorneys, students, activists, and others. Connect with people from across New England working to protect wetlands and open space. They have other events and trainings throughout the year.

  • Massachusetts Citizen Planner Training Collaborative (CPTC)

    • Date: Every March (last conference was March 17)

    • Location: Worcester, MA

    • Info: This conference is for people interested in land-use and development issues, such as citizen planners, zoning, building, and conservation officials. Sessions count for credit toward CPTC Certificate, MIIA insurance credit or AICP credit.

  • Regional Conservation Partnership Network Gathering (RCP)

    • Date: November 15

    • Location: UMass Amherst, Amherst, MA

    • Info: This conference is for Regional Conservation Partnerships across New England/NY and is focused on cultivating leadership and shared ownership to make collaborative conservation goals more attainable.

  • Northeastern Wildlife Transportation Conference (NETWC)

    • Date: September 9-12; Submit proposals by April 2, 2018

    • Location: UMass Amherst, Amherst, MA

    • Info: This year’s theme is “Partnering for Resilient Infrastructure and Ecosystems” This conferences is co-hosted by the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation and the Massachusetts Dept. of Fish & Game.
